Re: [Fractint] An Ultimate Par File Collection?
Such a large file could be built out of all the pars. I organize my par file finds into directories which are named appropriately for the author or some other logical organization. Some par writers do place their name in the comment field or within each par. But others, without some speck of information from the file name, have no known origin if taken out of that context. That is why I'd like to keep current practices intact and just search everything. Parsers can be made to work in most situations. I'd code something like this if I had the resources and time. It would keep track of all the pars, formulas and maps in any directory tree(s) specified and place just what is needed in the fractint directory to run. It would include directory and filename text as what would be searchable. Roger -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
