I considered rating it at a 10, but a rating of a 10 is the absolute top, and if I had given a 10, there would be no higher rating available for an even better image. Jim Muth jamth@??? Great fractal Jim, well worth the 9.5 Roger Alexander
I really, really liked this image. I liked the coloring, the 3D effect, and the tiny tendrils that go between the detailed edges and into the blue 3D area. It looks even better in a large anti-aliased image when you can zoom in on the tendrils. I made a 5x5 anti-aliased 2400 x 1800 pixel image (1.1 MB) with Fracton. In most browsers, clicking on the image when it is larger than your screen zooms in for a full resolution view. I too really liked Jim's image, and seeing this larger version was also very nice. Thank you for making it available for viewing.
