. AOTD -- February 09, 2007 (Actually there won't be an Animation-Of-The-Day until the advent of quantum computing or unless I can OC a 486 chip to several GHz and run DOS 6.22 with it; however I will post them as I can ...) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's animation is taken from Jim Muth's FOTD -- February 04, 2007, where we step back to (4.069e-5) and then zoom in to the original image at (2.66e4). With a little imagination, one can see the Big Bang originating the Universe from formless void, followed by chaos amidst celestial objects and nebula, finally resulting in the Crown of the First Creation, the Garden of Eden. Like Muth, I do not see those two characters either, although I suspect they are there, hiding behind a fractal tree pondering the mystery of good and evil, and whether or not they should take a hit off that forbidden fractal fruit. A modest effort for this one and the short duration give it a rating of 5; the render time of (55 hrs), though quite modest by the usual standards, would definitely offend the patience of just about everyone. However you can forego the effort and just download it by going to the AOTD web sites at: <http://www.fractal-animation.net/ufvp.html> <http://www.fractal-animation.net/index.html> or using the direct link: http://www.fractal-animation.net/vid/chaoscreation.zip for the 4.5 MEG, 30 second 640x480 WMV file. The December-January Winter blast appears to be over, and signs of the Spring ("New Life") Season are appearing, complete with sunshine, warm temperatures and longer days. Concurrent with this, the yipping and howling of the fractal coyotes in the South valley just below Fractal Animation Central has been picking up considerably at night. I find it a rather pleasant sound as I am drifting off to sleep, punctuated as it is with the occassional sounds of fractal cows and horses from the ranches just beyond. What they are saying is anyone's guess; I really do believe animals talk to each other, even between species, albiet perhaps not with the sophistication of us naked apes. My day was very busy, as tomorrow will be also. Research never stops. But these animations just keep coming, and I have 3, possibly a new 4th soon, systems bored with nothing else to do. The next one is due in (?). Until then, take care, And remember: "All the Universe is a Fractal, and all the men and women merely pixels" ..........Shakespeare (were he alive today) Cheers Jack Of TraDeZ .
