Animation of Jim Muth FOTD -- December 14, 2008 (superspiral) is posted, 20 Meg download: http://www.fractal-animation.net/vid/tohu va-vohu.zip This is an unusual fractal, very complex. With respect, I would opine that the originally posted FOTD image does not do it justice. There doesn't appear to be a "parent" fractal in the usual sense. If you back out you see a roughly circular complex "thing" which might be called the parent. But it is set on a diagonal stripe across the screen. (with a little imagination you may see one of the moons of Jupiter against a backdrop of the planet). And if you back out from that, the "parent" eventually vanishes to a point and disappears but the stripe never changes! Whatsup with that!? Also, there look to be many interesting areas worth exploring you can see in the early part of the viddie - the highly colored areas, just before entering the spiral. I changed the colors and gave it a cool name from a DVD lecture series on chaos theory I am now watching. Stay amazed JoTz .

Another nice animation, and quite interesting!! Those diagonal stripe are rather strange. Looking forward to the next one already. :-) Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
