Greetings, The old HTML code for doing a site search within Spanky using AltaVista is not working (see the bottom of page at following URL): http://spanky.triumf.ca/www/fractint/findex.html When I originally told Noel Giffin about the HTML search coding years ago, I too had used this on my site. But AltaVista kept changing the way it worked, which meant I would have to make chamges to my HTML code. I have since switched over to using Google on the "Fractal Census" main page, with better results and faster response. The following could be used on Spanky for the above URL webpage: <font size="3">Either choose one of the above topics or search with the following:<form method="get" action="http://www.google.com/search"><input type="text" name="as_q" size="40"><input type="hidden" name="num" value="20"><input type="hidden" name="hl" value="en"><input type="hidden" name="btnG" value="Google+Search"><input type="hidden" name="as_ft" value="i"><input type="hidden" name="as_qdr" value="all"><input type="hidden" name="as_occt" value="any"><input type="hidden" name="as_dt" value="i"><input type="hidden" name="as_sitesearch" value="spanky.triumf.ca/www/fractint/"><input type="hidden" name="safe" value="images"><input type="submit" value="Search"></form><br>DO<b> NOT </b>use Advanced Syntax (AND, OR, NOT, NEAR).</font> Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
