FOTD -- April 28, 2011 (Back to old scale Rating 5) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: With today's image I have returned to the old familiar rating scale on which today's image rates an honest 5. I named the image "Order in Emptiness" because it consists totally of empty 'inside' area created by the Mystic2 formula and brought to life by the 'bof61' inside fill. I might have been a bit over-enthusiastic when I chose the word 'order'. At least to me, the image consists of little more than chaos, relieved here and there by seashell-like bits of semi order. The calculation time of 4-3/4 minutes is admittedly slow for such an average image. A mixture of clouds and sun, and a temperature of 82F 28C made Wednesday rather pleasant here at Fractal Central. After chasing away a stray tomcat in the morning, the fractal cats spent the rest of the day feeling proud of themselves. Evening thunder showers did not disturb them.
