Your letter makes a fine commercial promotion for 
U.F.  Are you trying to lure more Fractinters into 
the U.F. fold?  Most on this list are already 
aware of the capability of U.F., and many already 
have it on their computers.  As for myself, I have 
found that Fractint best matches my short-burst-
of-activity style of fractaling.  And let's be 
realistic.  Those who use U.F. are more likely to 
see fractals as a means of artistic expression, 
(There is nothing wrong with this -- fractals are 
indeed a great new means of artistic expression.), 
while those who use Fractint are more likely to 
see fractals as abstract mathematical objects made 
visible.  Since I am more interested in the 
mathematical aspect, though I subscribe to both 
mailing lists, I find myself more at home using 
Fractint and discussing fractals on the Fractint 
list.
