Sebastien has been effectively blocked from the list for some time. His recent message is the first I have noticed in quite a while. I am very sympathetic to David's comments on this, but on the other hand I wouldn't want the list dominated by Sebastien. A few years back Sebastien would post quite a few messages each day, to the point where his posts dominated the list. I would not want to return to that. I wonder if it would be acceptable to folks to allow Sebastien to post, say, no more then once a day. The post would likely not be very coherent, but would have a fractal attached. If this bothered anyone it would not be too hard to filter those messages out of your email stream. I could go either way on this. On the one hand it's not the purpose of the list to provide anyone therapy (as if we could), and I wouldn't want to diminish the contributions of any of the several very prolific and creative (and dare I say, coherent :-)) folks who post regularly. On the other hand, it seems strangely appropriate that a list devoted to fractal art would accept someone like Sebastien with a mode of expressing himself on the extreme tail of the normal curve. If anyone has thoughts, opinions, or suggestions, please send them to me off list. Sebastien is not currently getting list mail, but be aware that the archives are public. Thanks, Tim wegner
