Richard, all, You said:

This is great news! Presumably this will solve the issue where certain fractal formulas aren't handled properly -- e.g.: MandelbrotBC3. I calculate each of Jim Muth's FOTDs (at a higher resolution than Jim does) with Fractint for Windows beta 5 and I really enjoy its ability to run in the Windows environment. When Fint4WinB5's image differs from Jim's image, I revert to calculating the image I post using DOS Fractint -- calculated using Disk Video mode -- because I have problems with my graphics card at higher resolutions.
I put in time on it when I can... I hope you can also address the aspect ratio problem of rotated images as I documented in your Iterated Dynamics Issue Tracker. I also gave a quick overview of the problem with some screen caps:

It would also help me to test the new parser/compiler if you could file issues at <http://iteratedynamics.codeplex.com> and attach those PARs that don't render properly. So far, all of them have been formula pars which is why I've been working on replacing the existing parser/interpreter with a parser/compiler.

Yeah, that one doesn't seem like it will be hard to fix. The biggest pain point right now is not rendering some of the formulas correctly, which is why I've been concentrating on that. -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com/the-direct3d-graphics-pipeline/> Legalize Adulthood! <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com>
