Extra fractal; not an FOTD
Fractal fans: Today's posting is not an FOTD. I have no time today for a regular FOTD, but I have just turned up a formula that I had forgotten about, and I wanted to give an idea of the things it might do. I also have found that it was Andrew Coppin who originated this formula and apparently the basic idea for the MandelbrotBC2 formula as well. The image is a Julia set of the Z^(1.1)+C Mandeloid as it appears 100 levels up the logarithmic super-spiral. The next real FOTD will appear on October 25.
