I couldn't render the last one Jack, This problem is due to the latest fractint update, as it apparently has become a bit larger and uses up formula buffer space. I have asked Jonathan several times for a fix, but no one in sight sofar. Until then pls resuse the previous version, the last update is for linux anyway as I see it. After I did that there is no problem anymore, even the ecolver mode works perfectly. The problem concerns XP dos AND Pure dos (bootstick) but not DosBox. Please tell me if I could help. Albrecht
