<< I'd like to hear some you other fractolieri's reasons for remaining with fractint.

I can use it under OS/2, Linux (at least, XFractint, haven't tried using DOSEMU yet), and Windows (in a pinch). I can take an old PC, put OpenDOS on it, and have a dedicated fractal-generation system without spending big bucks. I like the keyboard interface - very fast and efficient. It's free and open source.
