Wow, that's pretty cool. I like the fact that it's a zoom OUT, rather than the more common fractal zoom IN video. And having the fractal vanish away as it keeps zooming out is a really nice touch! You might check Google for free tools to convert your animated GIF to an AVI or OGV or other common video format. I just tried the basic Linux convert | ffmpeg on it on my laptop, but it ran out of memory before it finished.
