Hal Lane's flaming comet from Hell (or is it a flying carpet?) inversion thru the 4th dimension is posted:
http://www.fractal-animation.net/vid/4d_twist.zip
It is WMV format, 640x480, 6.9MB. As always, there is some resolution hit due to the MPEG compression; the 800x600 AVI is 100 freakin' MB! But if enuf people scream for it I'll consider posting it.
Those "perfect rectangles" from the Z^2.003 Julia are not perfect and not rectangles (strait line edges) although they look like it from a distance zoomed out. Try zooming in. The edges are chaotic and there is always one point (in this case on the right, East, side, middle) which is like an opening or abberation, reminiscent of the West end of the normal M_SET. Zooming into it it gets real complex, but the images take long to render.
Stay amazed JoTz

Now exactly who gets the credit? Muth? Lane? Skinner? ALL??

All, including you. Its just like a scientific paper with a long laundry list of names at the top. Everyone did a little and a lot got done. Kind of like stone soup...
JoTz, Thanks for making the animation! Its really great. I don't have the facilities for making videos here or I would try making one. What programs do you use to make the animation from the series of .gif images? <---<< - Hal Lane ######################### # hallane@earthlink.net # ######################### ###################################################### -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
