I have always wondered why some of the .PAR files that you have posted contain the SOUND= parameter specified, and as far as I can remember, they seem to always be set to OFF.

I can only assume that at those times when this parameter is used, then there must be one or more other individuals around when you do your searching. And that you do not want them to hear the small "beep" after the image has been rendered.

Paul: Your guess is pretty much right. Both FL and I find the constant beeps annoying. I have a sound=off entry in my sstools.ini file, which causes the sound=off to be included in my parameter files. I usually edit the sound=off entry out of the parameter files before I post them, but occasionally one slips through un-edited. Jim
