FOTD 26-02-09 (Miserable Minibrot [5])
FOTD -- February 26, 2009 (Rating 5) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Too much work, too little time, and imperfect health ganged up on Wednesday to hold today's image to a rating of a 5. The image shows not the ultimate minibrot, but a miserable little runt of a minibrot stuck on the ridiculously long main stem of one of the Z^(1.25)+C Mandeloids. It's a minibrot so tiny that it is actually starting to break up. I named the image "Miserable Minibrot". Don't try to zoom in on any part of the scene. Some parts of it are already starting to break up. The calculation time of 1-2/3 minutes will ease any disappoint- ment felt when the image is finally seen. Of course, all risk of disappointment and wasted calculation time may be avoided by hurrying to the FOTD web site and viewing the image there.
