FOTD -- July 26, 2010 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Someone once told me that there is nothing to be found in fractals with negative exponents of Z. Well, today I checked the Z^(-2)+C fractal and found nothing. Today's image shows the nothing that I found. The name "Nothing At All" confirms the nothingness. Actually, the image is not a Mandeloid. It is rotated 30 degrees toward the oblate direction, and has quite a bit of stretching and skewing included. The 5-pointed, rounded star- like elements are something entirely new in my experience. It's hard to give a rating to nothing, but if something were there, it would have rated a 7. Assuming something actually is there, I rated the image at a 7 despite its blatantly feminine pastel-pink appearance. The calculation time of 1-2/3 minutes will pass in a flash.
