My two cents worth...
<<So let's do a "straw pole" to establish who here is willing to "PAY" <<for an upgrade to Fractint? NO WAY!!! I have, since the beginning of my involvement with Fractint and understanding of the Stone Soup Group (version 15), agreed with, and been supportive of it's founders' - particularly Tim Wegner - philosophy of open-source copyrighted freeware. My very, very favoritest line in all of softwaredocumentiondom!! ===||=========================== May I add my sentiments to this. They have all my admiration and I have no intentions of giving up Fractint for any other program.
I got a shareware floppy (Yep, a floppy floppy.) with Fractint on it before I even had a computer. Then I put together a computer in order to run the program. Fractint is the reason for my having a computer in the first place. Marie
