New Fractal Music from Albrecht: "Contemplation, & Contrapoints"
Albrecht Niekamp made two new fractal music pieces and gave me permission to put them on my server and post links to them on the Fractint list. If I understand it correctly, the quality of the sound generated by the MIDI sound hardware and software can vary from computer to computer. That said, on my computer the MIDI versions of Albrecht's 1st piece, Contemplation, is has a nice -- yes -- contemplative, always advancing feel to it, with pleasant syncopation felt from time to time. His second piece, Contrapoints, is similar, but with, perhaps, a more relaxed feel to it. As is often the case with Albrecht's fractal music, both pieces do not have an ending cadence, but just sort of stop. When the first piece ended, I initially felt, "Hey. I was listening to that. Where did it go?" More careful listening to the ending left me feeling better about it. Here they are: 1st part: http://tinyurl.com/Contemplation-NAM90P79-MID or: www.emarketingiseasy.com/Albrecht/Music/2017-10-12_Contemplation_NAM90P79.MID 2nd part: http://tinyurl.com/Contrapoints-NAM90P80-MID or: www.emarketingiseasy.com/Albrecht/Music/2017-10-12_Contrapoints_NAM90P80.MID The music's source fractal image is the same one as he used for his fractal music piece, Flying: http://tinyurl.com/2017-03-19-Flying-Move3-jpg or: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/Albrecht/Music/2017-03-19_Flying_Move3.jpg (Albrecht actually uses the (larger) .BMP version of the image.)
