Thank you, very much, 'skinner' and 'jimmckenzie'. I guess it's more of a dinosaur OS than I'd hoped. I'll look to see if there is an older version of zonealarm or kerio that might help until I can snag an xp capable hand-me-down. Thanks again, peter S.
