FOTD -- November 09, 2007 (Rating 8) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's FOTD is from the same Z^(1.75)+C parent fractal as yesterday's. But today, instead of checking the chaos up north, we check the inside shore of the north branch of the valley enclosing the large period-2 bud on the east side of the large main bay of the parent. Once I reached the spot, it was not too difficult to find one of the minibrots that inhabit the area, and color it appropriately. The rating of an 8 shows that I am well satisfied with the final result. The name "Child of the Ages" is simply a phrase that came to mind while I was checking to see whether the scene is located on the parent or child side of its valley. It is on the child side. The sight of the image is worth its calculation time of 6-3/4 minutes. But absolute worth is a subjective thing, so for more convenience, the finished image is posted for instant viewing on the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> Cloudy skies and a temperature of 39F 4C, along with flurries of leaves, made Thursday feel quite like autumn here at Fractal Central. The fractal cats were more concerned with the pigeons than with the autumn leaves. My day was busy but under control. The next FOTD will appear in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and are fractals good, evil, both, or neither?
