[Fractint] Corrupt display on exiting from Fractint

I am a newcomer here, though I have been using Fractint on and off for some time. I expect this has been answered lots of times before, but here goes. I run Windows 98 SE and after running Fractint, particularly in SF7 display mode, I find that the Windows video display is so corrupt as to be useless. Typically just black and white, no detail, no text, no cursor. The only cure is to re-boot. Grateful for any ideas! Jonathan Barber Birmingham England
