This fractal (from Fractint's built in mandphoenixclx formula) has an interesting feature. While arms converging to a point in an enclosed lake are common enough two of the arms (look at the upper right) converge not to a point but to a lobe, and from this lobe two arms extend to a point with other arms . Reminds me of my uncle Ralph who said " 2.718... is the new 3.141...".
