Paul, on my fourth attempt I got:
The following message to <Paul.N.Lee@att.net> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 521-'203.59.1.137 blocked by sbc:blacklist.mailrelay.att.net.\nDNSRBL: Blocked for abuse. See http://att.net/blocks'

Reporting-MTA: dns; grapevine.icp-osb-irony-out7.external.iinet.net.au Final-Recipient: rfc822;Paul.N.Lee@att.net Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure) Remote-MTA: dns; [12.102.252.75] Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 521-'203.59.1.137 blocked by sbc:blacklist.mailrelay.att.net.\nDNSRBL: Blocked for abuse. See http://att.net/blocks' (delivery attempts: 0)

I don't know what my 'abuse' was! att.net seems a bit paranoid.

After my 'thank you' post there were
many responses, including one from
Paul N. Lee.  I sent him a personal
e-mail (off the list), which he
received, and he sent me a reply.

When I sent a response that I had
prepared off-line, it bounced, with a
message saying that I was blacklisted.

Any ideas?

Sending this to the list and to Barry....  I have no idea, since I have not seen the source of the bounce, nor the details of that returned email.

All that I can say is, give it another try and seen what happens.  After all, the first personal email came through just fine.

Sincerely,
P.N.L.
