-------- Original Message -------- Subject: The incredible vanishing FOTD Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2011 09:42:54 -0500 From: Jim Muth <jimmuth@mindspring.com> To: skinner@thuntek.net Lee: Please forward this message to the Fractint list. The list will not accept my messages. Fractal fans: I AM, I repeat *AM* continuing to post the FOTD's to the list as I have been doing for 14 years. But instead of appearing on the list, they have been vanishing into the ether for several days. There is no problem here at Fractal Central. I joined the list from the business computer and sent a test message from the new machine. The test posting appeared back in the mail box of the original machine as expected. But the business machine is at a different location, and I cannot use it as the FOTD machine. The only hint I have is the following cryptic stuff that appeared in the header of the last FOTD that I received back from the list. If anyone can decipher it, maybe I will be able to solve the problem. (It looks like something somewhere along the line has been blacklisted for sending too much spam.) ======================================================= SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO: <fractint@mailman.xmission.com>: host mx.xmission.com [166.70.12.20]: 550-XM-RJCT22: [207.69.200.58] is prohibited from connecting to XMission mail 550-servers due to high spam volume.
