This movie was made with the formula z(sub t+1) = z(sub t)^x + C. This is is similar to the Manelbrot formula where 'x' would equal a constant (2). The animation in this movie is cause by the actual formula changing, not zooming in and out like most animations. 'x' from the above formula is cycled from .01 to 11 with 242 frames in between. Each frame was manually generated and linked together with GIF movie gear. This is the Hi-Res Version (~11 megs) This si the Low-Res Version (~1.7 megs) These are all of the individual frames I know it is a bit basic and I probably should have used a better colour MAP, but I was just playing with the formulas one day and came up with this idea. What do you guys think? And does anyone know a better way to make all the frames rather than doing each one by one?
