Many of the items you are "tired of" can be handled quite easily. For example, doing block file renames may be performed by just opening a MS-DOS Prompt window, then go to the directory path where the files are. After you find them, then just do the rename command. The DOS commands that you would use are something like this: CD C:\Temp\WebFiles\ DIR /P REN *.* *.TXT Of course that would rename everything in the current directory path.
