FOTD -- November 17, 2009 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: I'll not wander into abstruse metaphysical speculation about what is going on in today's fractal. I'll merely state that whatever it is, it makes an interesting effect and a not-too-bad piece of pseudo-fractal art. The unlikely value of the second parameter is critical, as a small change will demonstrate. The value of the first parameter is also critical, though in a different part of the parent fractal. The name "Caught in the Deep" came to mind when I shut off my mind, which is not as hard to do as it might appear. The rating of a 7 indicates an image that is somewhat interesting as well as a bit artistic. The calculation time of under 1-1/2 minutes indicates that little time will be wasted if the result fails to satisfy. The trip to the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> to view the finished image eliminates all possible chance of dis- satisfaction. Tons of sun flooded Fractal Central on Monday. When the temp- erature reached 55F 13C the fractal cats said it was absolute perfection and curled up together on the shelf in the sunny southwest window. My day was average. I realize this is rather boring, but that's the way of it sometimes. The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and never give up the search for the light regardless of how you define the 'light'.
