I don't remember saying I didn't like trance-inducing sounds. Quite the opposite.

I actually find most audio fractals to be rather mesmerizing and often find myself drifting off during the most chaotic of events. I think the vaguely similar fractal patterns of non-predictable notes and rhythms tends to force one to be taken on the aural journey rather than planning the trip. And that can be a trance-inducing experience.
