[Fractint] <JoTz> What's the significance of/reason for the color map shifting?

JoTz, Thanks for posting the link to your: Zoom-In to FOTD 1/8/11 "Elusive Butterfly" Very nice. Enjoyed the zoom. What's the significance of/reason for the color map shifting and then apparently returning to its previous values as the zoom progresses? Does the non-zero logmap value make the color map automatically adjust as the zoom progresses? Sometimes the map shifts slowly -- other times it changes quickly or rapidly pulses. If it *is* the non-zero logmap doing it, I'm puzzled by why the color map appears to return to its previous value after a change... - Hal Lane ######################### # hallane@earthlink.net # #########################
