FOEFD -- August 22, 2004 (Rating 6) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image takes us to the fractal that results when negative portions of Z^(-1.7) and Z^(-2.1) are combined, then (1/C) is added. It has a kind of electrical feeling about it, which inspired the name "High Tension". Unable to decide what I think of the image, I rated it at a 6. When the render time of nearly exactly 3 minutes is considered, the overall value registers an impressive 200. A hot sunny day Friday was followed by a cooler cloudy day on Saturday, with showers. The fractal cats passed Friday after- noon in the shade. They passed Saturday sitting by the window. Today is starting sunny but cool. It looks like a perfect day for the dynamic duo. For me it will be a little work, but mostly relaxation. The next FOEFD will appear on August 24, possibly sooner.
