Call me an old dinosaur, but I'm still trying to learn how to use Fractint. I purchased Paul Carlson's "Mind Boggling Fractals" CD, a while ago and it was a lot of fun. I was hoping to transfer a lot of the files I created with MBF to Fractint. Paul has recently informed me that the MBF files are not transportable to either Fractint or Ultrafractal. I was wondering whether or not I could also acquire any more of Paul's older Fractint *.par and *.frm files that I could tweak, kludge and modify to work with my own Fractint designs. I want to adapt the curved "3d" look into my own fractint designs.... I've managed to download snippets of some of Paul Carlson's earlier work from Spanky's Website and Les St Clair's Website. A lot of the other URLs where Paul's files are supposed to be have died the death and disappeare and gone 404. Does anybody know of any currently "live" websites where Paul Carlson's par and frm files might actually be found? Are there any other "private", "personal", or "undocumented" websites or FTP sites where Paul's old Fractint pars and frms might still be stored? Was his work on any of the older Fractint CDs that might still be floating around? Thanks in advance, Tony Parker
