There are now fractal "variations" on my site for Jim's FOTD for December 2 - 8, 2013. There's also one added image on December 1st: F131201Y.gif -- which is not anti-aliased. Jim created some slow-calculating fractals recently, and I lost a couple of almost complete fractals to blue screens that had taken two days or so to compute (the way I do it) and got behind. It takes a long time to calculate the 4k x 3k versions of the fractals I use to anti-alias my images -- this is especially true of Jim's arbitrary precision fractals... I typically have my older WinXP machine simultaneously calculating one fractal in DOS Fractint and one in Richard's Fractint for Windows beta 5 (now called Iterated Dynamics) and I can still "surf the web" -- but a bit slower than I'd like... Thanks for navigating thru my home page with the counter... http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/TESTS/FOTD/jim_muths_fotd.html - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
