Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Yesterday's FOTD took us 100,000 levels up the complex-log hyper-
spiral of the Z^2.00001+C Mandeloid.  Today's image takes us 
940,000 levels up the spiral, to a level where the M-set is 
rotated 180 degrees, and East Valley lies on the negative real 
axis, which is where the tiny discontinuities are concentrated.

Today's image is a scene in East Valley, very close to the nega-
tive real axis where the major split occurs.  It consists of 
typical East Valley stuff, but the stuff is broken and arranged 
in unfamiliar ways.  I named the image "Pseudo-Bailout" because 
it gives the impression that it lies very close to the escape 
radius, which in this case is 100.

All things considered, the rating of an average 5 seems appropri-
ate.  The render time of 6-1/2 minutes can be shortened by down-

The clouds won the battle with the sun here at Fractal Central 
on Friday.  As a result, the high temperature was held to 61F 
16C.  This was good enough for the dynamic duo however, and they 
spent several hours lurking in the holly thicket.  Their day 
ended with tuna.  Today is starting partly cloudy with showers 
and warmer temperatures forecast.  Things look marginal for the 
duo.  For me, things look settled.  For the fractals, things 
look infinite.  The next FOTD will appear in 24 hours.  Until 
then, take some care, and if life serves a cheeseburger, hold 
the onions.
