I was able to use the pars and MFR_12 formula from Albrecht's "Startup Basics Typ 2" post to calculate all of the BASIC fractals in the post. However, I noticed that my Internet Explorer 7 and Google Chrome web browsers added a trailing space character to each line, which renders the parameter sets unable to be read in successfully by Fractint. But, my older Firefox does not add the trailing spaces, and so the copied parameter sets all work fine if copied from Firefox (and pasted into the Notepad editor.) One thing that I have in my SSTools.ini file for MFR_12 is: DEBUG=4200 ; sets disk video cache size to min. ; (for Multifractal_10 Disk Video) ; per Jonathan I don't know if its required to run MFR_12 in non-Disk Video modes or not -- because I leave it in there all the time... - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -------------------------------------------------------------- Author: Albrechtx Date: 2014-03-01 00:13 -500 To: Fractint and General Fractals Discussion Subject: Re: [Fractint] Startup Basics Typ 2 Am 23.02.2014 22:34, schrieb Albrecht:
Here now is a complete set of those basic images including the parfiles. If you compare them with the previous versions you´ll notice that all (except Phoenix) are different. As the link is deleted too here are the parfiles again: ====start par======================================== Beesbsn { ; Bees_Typ2 . . .
