Thank you for this information, I now have the latest version and colour-cycling. I now have to fathom a way of saving that to .avi but I'll have a go and if I suceed I'll post a solution.
You could just maximize the window and fill the screen, then have all of your screen's images sent straight to a video recorder, such as VHS. This in turn could be used as input into a sophisticated video editor application for handling and creating various movie types.

Ah, yes that would work. I have a firewire card with video out. It would be nice to record it straight into Premiere though, or save it as an .avi. I'll work on it!!
