Thanks everyone. Quickly checking in, need to hit the road. Hal, There are multiple sets of panes in each gallery. I think it's toward the end. ----- Original Message ----- From: "hallane" <hallane@earthlink.net> To: "Fractint and General Fractals Discussion" <fractint@mailman.xmission.com>, "Mark Christenson" <mchris@value.net> Sent: Friday, March 8, 2019 5:22:40 PM Subject: RE: [Fractint] Paul Lee's Site Bud, In Sylvie's album #14, I'm having trouble locating the Gigeresque 00247-25845.avi you recommended. In her album #14 page's lower right corner there's a helpful counter (E.g.: "37 / 150") -- but only *after* you click on one of the images on the "sub-screen" that's currently visible. (I'm calling her group of six thumbnails a "sub-screen") You scroll to different "sub-screens" using her Right-Arrow icon. What's the lower right corner "counter" number of the "sub-screen" where you found her animation: 00247-25845.avi ? - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -----Original Message----- From: Fractint <fractint-bounces@mailman.xmission.com> On Behalf Of mchris@value.net - Webmail Sent: Friday, March 8, 2019 6:39 PM To: Fractint and General Fractals Discussion <fractint@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: Re: [Fractint] Paul Lee's Site Her Electric Sheep albums are pretty amazing, and it seems all of the images come with animations. My favorite album is #14, and 00247-25845.avi is positively Gigeresque. Does anyone know how to contact her? I've Googled her and come up snake eyes, and there are no email links on her pages. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David W. Speaking of "lates", does anyone know if Sylvie Gallet is still around? Her last gallery updates on Fractalus were in 2008.

Thanks, Roger. All of the late Paul N. Lee's pages are at Roger's link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170814000151/http://www.nahee.com/Fractals/
Only the images are missing -- unless they are quite small. Some of the missing images could be re-created -- if a corresponding par file is given -- possibly from some of the thumbnail images that are saved at archive.org.
Recall that Fractint saves the parameters that created an image in extension blocks within that GIF image. So, a GIF thumbnail of a larger fractal might contain the fractal's parameters. However, the included parameters of a Fractint-produced GIF image can be lost if the GIF is modified by another program and the extension blocks are not copied.
Paul's personal home page and links are also on archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20170706035213/http://www.nahee.com/PNL/
along with a small photo of him.

Talk of collections reminded me of this.
Paul Lee's site support ended in 2017. He had some collections there too under the Fractint link.
The last copy of the site in the Wayback machine is here, hopefully in
perpetuity.
