Been years since I used WinAmp, but even back then it included an "audio enhancer" setting that was an implementation of a CIA-developed algorithm for enhancing intercepted audio to improve clarity and spatial imaging for intelligence analysis. It's possible your WinAmp is using that. If so, it is algorithmically changing the perceived separation of sounds in the audio space. And why does your mail client split everything into short lines and separate them with blank lines? I read mail from the list a number of ways (ISP's webmail, K9 Email on Android, Thunderbird Email) and your emails are the only ones that do it. On 11/18/2017 10:11 PM, Albrecht Niekamp wrote:

The 4 channel playback is identical on all
versions but winamp is more dynamic
and "alive".
Supplied also the MP3 Version. Please
compare and tell me if there is any difference,
there should be none.
This is still the testing phase so will
be grateful for any assistance as
this has never been tried before,
The PhaseShifting should be more or less
compatible with most 4 Channel surround
systems
