The name is very good for something with so much fine texture, and something akin to a flat distribution. It's not flat, exactly, but it's pretty close for a fractal. It's a shame that you didn't fill in the whole pallette. I think that altern.map is better for showing you the texture.
After puzzling over the image for a few minutes, I noticed what looks like a small, triangular black flag waving in the upper right part of the frame. I named the image after this unimportant feature.
Turns out that wasn't so unimportant. Cryptographers will be looking for a way to make random data with a fine grain until someone proves that majishians make dark matter every time they actually make something disappear.
