As mentioned before I use a 16GB bootstick as a perfect device.
Used in 4 (four) different ways successfully:
1. To run XP dos the usual way
2. As a perfect FAT partition with full access
also for Win311, Win95 software.
3. As a DOS bootdevice
4. It is plugged into a switchable hub and can boot up
my Win7 computer as well, so I have DOS on that
machine too. To accomplish that the boot up
code must be written using Win7. The Rufus software
does the job.
