Why have all the equals signs in my posts to fractint@mailman.xmission.com had the characters '3D' inserted after them? How can I keep this from happening?
I believe it is called "quoted-printable" text, and it replaces some characters with =xx (where xx is a hex value of the char being represented). It also force-wraps lines at some column width (72 or something like that). If you can turn off "quoted-printable" in your email/news software, that might do the trick. (I think MS Outlook is especially prone to default to "quoted-printable" outout.) -- |_ CJSonnack <Chris@Sonnack.com> _____________| How's my programming? | |_ http://www.Sonnack.com/ ___________________| Call: 1-800-DEV-NULL | |_____________________________________________|_______________________|
