I've never trusted MailWasher for automatic spam removal, rather I peruse the list to make sure nothing is going to be deleted that I really want. It doesn't take long and I usually end up deleting some things I've subscribed to but don't feel like reading/don't have the time today. Again, what I just determined is that it can be done with Eudora and the Fractint Digest quite nicely. Its the Yahoo Digests that don't work right. Strangely, I can cut and past a Yahoo Digest into an old Digest Reader circa Windows 95 that still works. It makes a small mistake with the index but the rest of the messages are parsed correctly. But cutting and pasting is a pain. Eudora could probably include a small option for yahoo but there is no way they are ever going to do it. At 02:47 PM 4/22/2004, you wrote:

The question comes to mind, if this is the way I want it then why don't I just receive individual mails and place them in separate mailboxes. This could work but there are some drawbacks. First is that the increased individual items makes managing spam with MailWasher much more difficult. <<<
I'm not familiar with MailWasher, but can't you just tell it to let through anything with [Fractint] in the header? You don't get spam that contains [Fractint] do you? Most all the mailing lists I belong to put their name in brackets like that.
