Yes, there is a difference between individual emails and the digested version. Individual emails will give you everything, just like the person posted it originally. It goes without saying that there is a difference because of the name being "digest", which means: a. To organize into a systematic arrangement, by summarizing or classifying. b. To condense or abridge (a written work). Digest will always give you less than the original.
