I don't think anyone minds, but you'd be more likely to get some better suggestions on the UF mailing list.
With some tweaking, I can get it to read basic mandelbrot and julia fractint par files. However, rendering time is much SLOWER for a given image (especially deep ones) using UF on a P4-3GHz system, than it is for fractint on a P3-733 !
Anyone have a clue as to why this is and I just wasted $129 ?!
Maybe UF is doing antialiasing by default; or solid guessing is disabled; or any one of many possible options.
