I am terribly sorry to have to tell you that Carol Walske passed away on December 13, 2004, after a long, valiant fight with cancer.

I was saddened to read the news about Carol. I remember her fondly from the GraphDev forum at Compuserve. I remember being awestruck by her particularly creative use of Fractint's 3D overlay feature to produce a beautifully eerie image of the moon over a mountain scene. That was 1993. Time flies.
