I am not totally sure what some of you are trying to do, but if it helps let me offer this: WinXP has a PowerToy extention you can install. When you rite-click an image, or highlite a collection of images, you can immediately resize them all to anything you specify. If interested I can tell you where and how to get this. Or you can search the MS site for "power toys". Free. The IrfanView program ( http://www.irfanview.com/ ) can also do this, and MUCH MORE. Free. As mentioned, manipulation of images this way usually loses the fractint info in the file. As for turning a collection of GIFs into AVI, check out VideoMach at http://www.gromada.com/ . It also can create other formats like MPEG1. Cost about $30. It is what I use for all my viddies and we all know how cool they are <g>. If you want to compress (MPEG4) your viddies for upload or distribution, use the microsoft Windows Media Encoder and you can get it at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx . Free. Now about creating an animation with color cycling ... hmmm ... cool idea! Lemme work on that ... Long live the Cult Of Fractint! JoTz
