I used to have this problem. All you have to do is press 'S' to save the image when the image says it is complete or finished. It should save it as FRACTnnn.GIF, WHERE nnn is the number of the last fractal generated. To print at 300dpi you may have to change your printer settings on output. I always print at 720dpi as my images have never been that big...
