FOTD -- April 19, 2009 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Help! There's a biomorph on the loose! Now, what the <bleep> is a biomorph? A biomorph, IMO, is a coloring method related to binary decompo- sition, (What the <bleep> is that?), which produces coloring effects that sometimes resemble one-celled life forms. (Now I think it's a blob on the loose.) I use this option only rarely, but in today's image it creates an effect that raises the rating of the image from a lowly 5 to an acceptable 7. The calculation time of 1-1/2 minutes means relief for the time- pressed. The trip to the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> means more fun for everyone. Spring was in full bloom here at Fractal Central on Saturday. The temperature reached a balmy 77F 25C and the blue sky was streaked with only the thinnest angel-hair cirrus. It was warm enough indoors that the fractal cats were happy even without basking in the sun on their shelf. Meanwhile, FL was severely bitten by the gardening bug and spent the entire day working in what I hear will be the best garden of all time. With the regular work caught up, my day was spent in the tradi- tional awe and wonder. The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and don't be overcome by that awe and wonder, or you'll soon be wondering what all the awe and wonder is about.
