And if I try and save the parameters, I get the message saying it "Can't create" the PAR.
i have no idea how to create .par files or howto get them loaded into xfractint. hence the workaround.
Once a FractInt produced GIF image is loaded back into FractInt using the "r" option (and the image resides in a directory path accessable to the program), then you can just use the "b" option to save all of the parameter information (including colors) as a text file with the .PAR file extension.
But it is a nice image, and I like the growing effect.
yes, thank you, i had forgotten it's history :)
Thank you for sharing these images.
....it means i can carry on using that method which was basically to chuck everything into dirs and use konquerers 'make image gallery'.
Yes, it appears the .GIF image files are usuable to load into FractInt and available to be saved as PAR files. Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
