FOTD -- November 10, 2007 (No Rating) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's FOTD is late because I had no chance to finish it on time. But here it is in all its hasty glory -- a scene picturing a 'minibrot' in the 'East Valley' of the Z^(1.7)+C Mandeloid as it appears 44 levels up the logarithmic ladder. Since it took me only 2 minutes to find the image, I could give it no rating. The name "Incomprehensible" describes my impression of the world of fractals. The calculation time of 1-1/3 minutes will cause no impatience. And as always, the finished image is available on the FOTD web site. The fractal cats were so put off by the conditions that they didn't even bother to look for the pigeons that sometimes peck for food on the sidewalk. (BTW, what food do pigeons find on pavements that is nourishing enough to keep them so healthy?) My day was unexpectedly busy, but tomorrow will be slower. The next FOTD will appear in only 12 hours.
